I had a lovely stay at Vineyard Hotel, surrounded by beautiful gardens and amazing views of Table Mountain. The amenities were fantastic, especially the pool area and gym. though the dining options were a bit limited during my stay due to COVID restrictions. I felt well taken care of by the attentive staff, though there were some minor issues with service, especially during busy breakfast hours.

Rooms
8.0
My room was spacious and clean, with comfortable bedding. However, I found the garden suite I booked to lack a significant view of the mountain, as it mostly overlooked trees.
Service
7.0
Most staff were good and attentive, although service at breakfast was sometimes slow. it was quite busy. There were moments when the staff seemed a bit overwhelmed.
Location

The hotel is situated in the picturesque Newlands area, right at the foot of Table Mountain, making it a stunning location. I enjoyed the lovely gardens that added to the experience, especially the chance to spot resident tortoises.
Dining
7.0
While the breakfast was excellent and the lunch options at the pool were enjoyable, the limited evening room service menu could get monotonous over an extended stay. I would have appreciated more variety, particularly in non-pork options.
Facilities
8.0
The facilities are impressive, with a great gym and relaxing pool area. I appreciated the multi-country plugs in my room, but WiFi was a bit inconsistent, especially during the stay.

My stay at Vineyard Hotel was a mix of beauty and challenges. The stunning views and well-decorated rooms were a highlight, but service at dining times was noticeably lacking. I enjoyed the tranquil gardens, yet dining experiences left me wanting more attention and efficiency. 🌳

My room was large, extremely comfortable, and had a small balcony overlooking the beautiful garden. It was well-equipped, though the air conditioning was not as effective as expected.

While some of the staff were friendly and attentive, I found the service inconsistent. At times, I was left waiting too long for my orders during meals, which was disappointing for a hotel of this caliber.

I had a lovely stay at the Vineyard Hotel, with its stunning views and beautifully landscaped grounds. The room was spacious and comfortable, though I did experience a glitch with the air conditioning. Overall, the staff were cheerful and helpful, making my stay quite enjoyable, despite a few minor issues with service at the front desk.

The rooms were modern, spacious, and had a huge comfortable bed, with doors leading to a patio. However, there was a bit of an issue with the air conditioning not cooling properly during my stay.

My stay at the Vineyard Hotel was a mixed bag. The location and views were stunning, making it a lovely place to unwind, but the service had noticeable hiccups. While some staff were incredibly attentive, others seemed disinterested, which dampened the overall experience. The dining options were good, particularly breakfast, but there were times when service was slow, overshadowing the beautiful surroundings.

Rooms
8.0
The room I had was recently refurbished, featuring modern water-saving bathrooms and was quite comfortable. However, I did notice a minor issue with the lack of toothpaste in the room, which was a letdown.
Service
6.0
Service was hit or miss. Some staff members like Mandi and Pumza were excellent, but others were a bit off-hand and seemed surly at times. I got the feeling that the hotel is working on improving overall guest experiences, but consistency is still needed.
Location
9.0
The hotel's location is absolutely beautiful, nestled among green trees with views of the mountains. However, I did find it distracting at times to hear people on their phones in the courtyard, which disrupted the otherwise tranquil ambiance.
Dining
7.0
Dining at the hotel was mostly very good, especially the breakfast which I would rave about for ages! But, I did experience longer waits for lunch one afternoon, which was disappointing given the quality of the food.
Facilities
9.0
The facilities at the Vineyard Hotel are impressive, from its extensive gardens to various dining options all beautifully designed. I enjoyed the spa services as well, adding to the overall appeal of my stay.

The staff were welcoming and polite throughout my stay, making the check-in smooth. However, the restaurant service was slow during peak times, which affected my overall dining experience.
Location

The hotel's location along the Liesbeek River is ideal for relaxation after a day of sightseeing. The gardens are beautiful and contribute to a tranquil environment.
Dining

Breakfast was delicious, but I found that the food quality in the restaurant was inconsistent, and there were delays in service. Overall, it was decent but could improve.
Facilities

The hotel offered great facilities, including valet parking, a lovely pool area, and a well-equipped gym. However, I did wish the service could keep up with its popularity during busy times.
